Lighting transformer is a device for connecting AC power supply and lamps to convert electric energy into light energy. Its function is to convert 220V or 380V 50Hz AC into single-phase 220V or 380V AC voltage with frequency of 50Hz for lighting. It is mainly composed of iron core, winding and insulating parts. According to the different uses, it can be divided into ordinary type (common), waterproof and dust-proof type (for diving lamp) and explosion-proof type.

Common type: it is made by winding one or more iron cores, and each iron core has one or more coils with different turns;

Waterproof and dustproof type: the shell adopts metal sealing structure, and the interior is made of non-magnetic materials to form a closed magnetic circuit system;

Explosion proof type: the enclosure is made of non-metallic materials into a closed magnetic circuit system, and the explosion-proof and intrinsically safe elements are installed inside.
